Security Fest 2026
Welcome to the Security Fest 2026 Call for Papers!
Security Fest returns May 28-29, 2026 (Thursday, Friday), and this year is extra special as we're celebrating 10 years of Security Fest (we've held 8 fantastic conferences so far due to COVID, that’s 0o10 for the octal-notation nerds)! 2026 will be our biggest and best yet.
Where: Elite Park Avenue Hotel, Gothenburg, Sweden
What: A deeply technical, community-driven cybersecurity conference
Conference format: One track, two great days
What to Expect
Security Fest is arranged by a group of volunteers from the security community, for the community. We're known for high-quality content, great atmosphere, and awesome people. Here’s what makes it special:
- Technical cybersecurity talks: no vendor pitches, just solid content
- Electronic badge: every year’s badge is unique and hackable
- Villages: soldering, red/blue team, arcade machines, CTF, chill lounge, sticker swap, and more
- Epic Thursday night party: dinner, quiz, entertainment, and good times
- Sponsor area: meet our nice sponsors who make the conference possible, explore their services and ask for swag
- Goodie bag: all attendees receive a bag of swag and a t-shirt (as long as they are available)
- A beautiful setting: the end of May in Gothenburg offers summer vibes and a great city to explore

Submissions
We’re looking for technical talks with a clear connection to cybersecurity.
Topics can range from offensive security, incident response, reverse engineering, hardware hacking, secure development, research, standards, cryptography, privacy, or anything in between. Marketing-heavy or vendor-sponsored talks will not be accepted. Security Fest is proudly independent and financed solely by ticket sales and sponsors.
